Let's see how we can use Google keyword tool to find the best keywords to target and get more traffic.
Before start, the most common mistake that everyone fall into is, just selecting the keywords that has huge amount to searches without considering the length of the keyword. It is a bad practice, and it needs lots of time to see some traffic to a website and may lead to frustration. To avoid this, it is important to select the keywords that has good amount searches as well as it has to be a long tail keyword. Starting with long tail keyword and getting some traffic will give more motivation to working on the project for the SEO expert or the webmaster as far as the traffic from long tail keywords mostly may turn into profits to the site.

3. Enter the word or phrase on the search box on TOP.
4. Under location, select your target location. For an example, you have a website that offers office cleaning services in London and you offer services only around London. In this case, the location may be United Kingdom.
5. Now hit search

That will give keywords and their estimated monthly searches, and click on local monthly searches (if your target market is local) or click on global searches (if your target is global) to sort the searches. In the example, we are targeting local searches, so I click on local monthly searches and get the below results.
7. As far as I want to target the London city, I would like to enter Office London inside include terms box and hit enter key.
8. As a result, I got list of below keywords [see red marked area]. I may go for all of those keywords.
9. Likewise, if you want to find more keywords, you can add new terms or remove existing terms inside 'include terms' box and find more relevant long tail keywords to start working with.
